Ovations is committed to the communities that we serve. Because many of the facilities that we serve are the centers of their communities there is an opportunity to return back more to the local citizens. Ovations works with our venues to sponsor and host events such as fundraiser dinners for local charities as well as educational organizations. Ovations also helps collect donations at our venues as well as helping to participate in local Radio or TV pledge drives.
Ovations is an employer of choice within the communities we operate. Ovations works with local public and private sector leaders to establish a rapport with local Workforce Development agencies and local community organizations and leaders to establish Ovations as an employer of choice and opportunity for the local community.
Many jobs in the hospitality industry require some element of training and on-the job experience before an individual can find regular employment in the industry at a level above minimum wage compensation. By working with the local community leaders and SBE companies Ovations is able to develop our potential labor pool into a workforce development opportunity that can lead to progressively more responsible positions.
In turn, this will enable dedicated employees to leverage their experience with Ovations and grow into more significant employment opportunities within the local business community to create an increasing positive economic benefit to the local neighborhoods surrounding the venue.
